The main character (cat) is Nuts, an old man's cat kept by the Tone family. The story depicts the absurd and slightly silly daily life of Nuts and his family, Chikko, a stray kitten who loves insects, and Ji-san, an old cat, as well as Tim, a dog kept by a neighbor. The cats in the book are all "not cute" at all, and there is no sense of heartwarming at all. However, those who have ever owned a cat will remember the "cat experience". (google translated)
