Her father is a TV station director, her mother is a famous actress, and she has two older brothers. The main character, Suzuki Rumiko, a junior high school girl, lives in a family where everyone is selfish, and they manage to keep a delicate balance between their lives. One day, however, her father suddenly announces the dissolution of the family. The family is split up as it happens. Rumiko is left alone at home and starts a business of renting out her house as a love hotel... As she thinks to live and acts to live, what will become of Rumiko and the Suzuki family?
