The overall story follows two young boys who are the Mini 4WD racers: The self-boasting Kakeru Takagami and his rival Kit Kudou as they races against each other everyday and sometimes teaming up and race against their opponents. Watching over the duo's races is Mr. Kubota, a seemingly normal Tamiya employee with a mysterious past. What the two didn't know, however, that they would face against a mysterious organization who want to use the Mini 4WDs as weapons.
