Ai, the daughter of the long-established Japanese confectionery store "Kagetsuan," is taken by her grandmother to a tea party, where she meets an eye-catching and beautiful man, Katsuragi, the heir to a major confectionery company. However, although she never spoke to him and thought they would never be involved in the future, they ran into each other again a few weeks later on their way to a dinner party to celebrate her grandmother's 77th birthday. Katsuragi also tells Ai that he has proposed marriage to her...?
