"Fist of the Sea'' was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion'' (Akita Shoten) from 1981 to 1982 by Baron Yoshimoto, who is still strongly supported by fans for his Jukyoden.'' The main character of this work is Ken Kaibara, a happy boy born and raised on a southern island. The film carefully depicts the story of Ken Kaibara, who was scouted as a boxer, overcomes various hardships, and becomes the Japanese champion. Although the work was serialized in a boys' magazine, the storyline is one that even adults can enjoy.
