Douma, the chief magician at the royal palace, was demoted after headbutting his unreasonable boss. Dropping out of the elite course, he was as good as dead as a royal magician–but for Doma, who longed for a slow life on the frontier, being demoted was the ultimate reward! Douma heads to his place of demotion, excited that he can now lead a carefree magic research life. However, as the strongest magician, there is no way he can live a relaxed life, and he ends up getting into trouble, fighting a group of thieves and investigating a haunted house. In addition, unique friends such as a naturally beautiful swordsman and a spoiled mushroom fairy are gathering one after another! My ideal is a slow life, but I have a feeling that my second life will be chaotic…!? The long-awaited comic adaptation of the 2nd Next Generation Fantasy Cup Grand Prize winning work!!
