A special promotional spin-off manga/story booklet bundled exclusively as an appendix ("furoku") with the February 1985 issue of Animage magazine. Created by veteran animator and character designer Hatsuki Tsuji, who served as a key animation director on the "Sherlock Hound" television anime series. The story follows Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson embarking on an original investigation to unravel the mystery of a legendary sacred blade and protect a lady while contending with the machinations of Professor Moriarty. Takes place after "The Missing Bride Affair" from the anime series.
